Need to redeem a code for some sweet Roll20 loot? Well, you've come to the right place! Roll20 redemption codes allow you to unlock awesome stuff from Roll20, including Subscription benefits for new users and cool Marketplace Items. 


How do I use my redemption code?

Marketplace Codes

  1. Start off by copying or grabbing the 15-digit code you received for the item.
  2. Enter that code directly into the form field on our Redeem a Code page and click the Validate Code button. A message will appear that provides information on the event, the code itself, and the item you will be receiving. screen2.jpg
  3. Click the Claim Code button at the bottom to actually redeem. A message will appear on the page letting you know you've successfully redeemed the code.
  4. Enjoy your sweet new Marketplace Item!

Subscriptions Codes

Subscription codes are ONLY for new users. You cannot use a subscription discount if you have a subscription or have held one in the past. Please see the FAQ below for additional information.

  1. Start off by copying or grabbing the 15-digit code you received for the subscription.
  2. Enter that code directly into the form field on our Redeem a Code page and click the Validate Code button. A message will appear that provides information on the event, the code itself, and the subscription benefits gained by using it.screen1.jpg
  3. Click the Claim Code button at the bottom to actually redeem. A message will appear on the page letting you know you've successfully redeemed the code.
  4. Navigate to the Subscription page. Select the Subscription that applies best to your redeemed Subscription code, fill out your payment information, and click the Submit Payment button.
  5. Enjoy that awesome new subscription!

General

Where do I get redemption codes?

Redemption codes are typically given out by companies that put their product on the Roll20 platform. They are usually offered as Kickstarter incentives, sale promos, and so on. It would be best to contact the publisher of the game(s) you're interested in with regards to Roll20 redemption codes.

Marketplace Codes

My Roll20 Marketplace redemption code isn't working. What do I do?

Contact the publisher of the product(s) who gave you the code. Our codes are automatically generated but it's up to the publisher to ensure they're distributed accurately and correctly.

I already own the physical copy of X, can I get a discount or redemption code?
No. Roll20-licensed products represent hundreds of hours of work translating the physical books into their digital Roll20 counterparts. This includes setting up features the books don't handle themselves, such as dynamic lighting. Think of it as a movie version of the book - you would still pay for both.

Subscriptions Codes

Can I use a code if I already have/had a subscription?

Subscription codes are ONLY for new users. You cannot use a subscription discount if you have a subscription or have held one in the past.

Can I use more than one subscription code?
No. Only one code can be redeemed per account. 
Do subscription codes expire?
Yes. Subscription discount codes can expire. You can find an exact date on the coupon.
Do I need to have a payment method to use a code for a subscription?
Yes. Subscription codes will apply to your account before payment, but a payment method is required. If you cancel your subscription before code has been used up, you will not be charged.
I used my code, but I do not see a subscription credit. Is something wrong?
No. Redeeming a subscription code will not appear on your account as subscription credit. After adding the code, you need to start your subscription here.
What happens when my subscription ends?
Your subscription will automatically renew with the payment method you’ve selected. If you cancel your subscription before the code is used up, you will not be charged.
Can I substitute the subscription stated on the coupon? (i.e. Pro sub instead of Plus sub or vise versa)
No. Subscription Codes are valid for a specific subscription level and duration, for example “Three months of Pro Subscription” is only valid for a Monthly Pro Subscription lasting for three consecutive months.
